Children Protection & Usage Guidelines – Dadibadi
Effective Date: July 23, 2025
Last Updated: July 23, 2025
Dadibadi is designed to provide a safe and enriching experience for children between the ages of 3 and 12. These Children Protection & Usage Guidelines outline how we ensure children’s safety, content appropriateness, and responsible usage of our App.
Child Safety by Design
We follow the “safety-by-design” principle throughout the product lifecycle:
No user-to-user communication
No ads or marketing content directed at children
No data tracking for behavioral profiling
All content is carefully curated and age-appropriate
Content Review & Educational Standards
All content (stories, sounds, images) is reviewed by child education specialists.
Content is aligned with cultural values and appropriate for Middle Eastern audiences.
No violent, sexual, religiously divisive, or socially inappropriate material is included.
Stories are non-political and apolitical.
Parental Supervision & Controls
We strongly encourage the presence and involvement of a parent or legal guardian. The App includes:
In-app purchase restrictions behind parental gates
Time-limiting recommendations (e.g., "20 minutes per session")
Optional parent dashboard (if implemented in future releases)
No Location or Camera Access
The App does not request access to camera, microphone, GPS, or contact lists unless explicitly needed for educational voice interaction.
When voice input is required (e.g., reading aloud), only real-time processing is used without permanent storage.
Reporting and Blocking Mechanism
Although there is no public content or communication between users, we provide a feedback and reporting system:
Parents can report inappropriate behavior or content via email: developer@dadibadi.com
Our team will investigate and respond within 48 hours
Age-Gated Access
Features involving purchases, settings, or sensitive permissions are locked behind parental gates using age-verification questions.
Children are not asked to provide any personally identifiable information (PII) under any circumstance.
Screen Time and Usage Encouragement
We support healthy digital habits and recommend:
No more than 30 minutes per day of usage for children under 7
Encouraging breaks every 15–20 minutes
Joint use with a caregiver for maximum learning benefit
Educational and Emotional Well-being
Our stories aim to promote:
Curiosity and imagination
Empathy and social-emotional learning
Cultural pride and positive identity for children in the Middle East
Policy Updates
We reserve the right to update these Guidelines as regulations or best practices evolve. Major changes will be communicated in-app or via parental email (if collected via opt-in).
